Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries

Job Description:

 

·       Lead youth ministry program for junior high, high school, and college age youth

·       Recruit and train adult volunteers

·       Help plan and lead weekly youth meetings

·       Train and supervise high school and college age youth leaders

·       Work with our Youth Ministries Committee to select Sunday School curriculum and teach classes as desired/needed

·       Participate in an Annual Mexico Mission trip which is led by an existing leadership team

·       Help plan and lead a summer work camp experience for high school and junior high youth

·       Youth Director can assist with Sunday worship if he/she desires

Qualifications:

·       A PASSION for youth ministries

·       Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in a related field)

·       Love of Jesus Christ and his Church

·       Love of kids, and a warm, caring, outgoing personality and a sense of humor

·       Experience working with youth

·       Ability to work with both adults and kids

·       Ability to evaluate and develop necessary programs and curriculum

Hours of work and compensation:

·       Full time 40 hours per week

·       Annual salary of $38,000.00
